Bayern Munich have signed midfielder Bernadette Amani on a contract running until June 2029. The 28-year-old joins the Frauen-Bundesliga champions from CD Tenerife Femenino. Amani began her football career with Onze Sœurs de Gagnoa in Ivory Coast before moving to Spain in 2019. This season, Amani made 13 appearances in all competitions, starting 12 matches and scoring one goal. She will now continue her career in the Frauen-Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
What Bernadette Amani had to say

My goal is to quickly integrate myself in the coming weeks and to repay the trust placed in me with strong performances. I see myself as a true team player, so teamwork and the success of the team are my top priorities. I intend to give my best every day to achieve this.”

Bayern Munich have recalled striker Edna Imade from her loan spell at Real Sociedad. The forward was originally set to remain with the Spanish side for the full season. Real Sociedad are currently competing in Liga F and sit third in the table. According to FC Bayern director of women’s football Bianca Rech, the decision was based on Imade’s strong development:
“Edna has developed very well over the past few months. After a strong first half-season in Spain, we made the decision with her to end her loan spell ahead of schedule and bring her back to Munich now”.
