Rachel Williams is the latest addition to Leicester City’s squad, joining the club on a permanent deal from Manchester United. The 38-year-old forward has signed a 1.5-year contract with the Foxes.

“I feel like I still have a lot to offer for the Club, and the opportunity to come back is something I’ve been looking forward to doing.”
Williams began her senior career with Leicester City in 2004, having joined the club’s Centre of Excellence at just 12 years old. Over 20 years later, she returns with a wealth of experience, having played for Chelsea, Birmingham City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United.
On the international stage, Williams earned 13 caps for England and one cap for Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics. In the Women’s Super League, she has won the Women’s FA Cup twice (2012 and 2023) and claimed the WSL Golden Boot in 2011.

Leicester City have signed midfielder Emma Jansson from FC RosengĂĄrd on a permanent deal. During her time with the Swedish club, Jansson won the Damallsvenskan title twice, in 2022 and 2024. The 29-year-old has signed a contract that runs until June 2028.

Jansson began her career with Hammarby IF in 2012 before moving to Eskilstuna United DFF. After a brief spell with KIF Ă–rebro DFF, she returned to Hammarby IF for a second stint in 2018, before later joining FC RosengĂĄrd.
