Soccerdonna reports that Giovanna Hoffmann has attracted interest from Eintracht Frankfurt. The RB Leipzig striker was linked with Manchester United this summer, but the transfer ultimately fell through. Hoffmann’s contract with Leipzig runs until the summer of 2026, but she may still be on her way to Frankfurt before it expires. If she does make the move, Hoffmann would join Raso, Freigang, Reuteler, Chiba, Anyomi, and Blomqvist in Eintracht’s attacking ranks, plenty of talent and competition for the German forward.

More on Giovanna Hoffmann

Before joining RB Leipzig, Hoffmann played for SC Freiburg, scoring five goals in 71 matches, and previously for Werder Bremen, where she made 63 appearances and found the net 26 times.

Upon signing, Hoffmann said: “The way RB Leipzig plays football and the path the club wants to take in women’s football over the next few years convinced me to make the move. I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and the environment and want to contribute as quickly as possible to reaching our shared goals.”

On the international stage, Hoffmann featured in five matches at the Women’s EURO 2025, where Germany were knocked out in the semi-finals by Spain. Since making her debut in 2024, she has scored three goals in 12 appearances.
