Manchester United forward Geyse could be set for a move to Mexican side Club América following the end of her loan spell with Gotham FC. The Brazilian international joined the NWSL club on loan in March 2025, bringing significant experience after spells with Manchester United and FC Barcelona.

Geyse featured in 27 matches for Manchester United, scoring two goals and providing four assists. Prior to her time in the Women’s Super League, she enjoyed success with Barcelona, winning the 2023 Liga F title and the UEFA Women’s Champions League, while also claiming the Copa América with Brazil in 2022.

During her time with Gotham FC, Geyse was part of the championship-winning squad, making 17 appearances and registering two goals and two assists. Although the loan agreement included an option to make the move permanent, Gotham FC chose not to activate it, opening the door for a potential switch to Club América.

Rachel Williams Expected to Sign for Leicester City

According to The Athletic, Manchester United forward Rachel Williams is close to joining Leicester City. The veteran striker signed a one-year contract extension in the summer of 2025, tying her to United until the summer of 2026, but now appears set for a new challenge.

Williams joined the Red Devils in 2022 after spending two seasons with Tottenham Hotspur. Since arriving at United, she has made more than 80 appearances across all competitions and scored 21 goals. Upon signing her contract extension, the 37-year-old spoke of her commitment to the club and her role within the squad.

“I am delighted to be continuing at Manchester United,” Williams said at the time. “The growth we have seen over the last few years has been great to be a part of, and I look forward to lending my experience to this exciting squad.”

That next chapter may now come at Leicester City. The Foxes have been active during the winter transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad. Leicester have already added Sarah Mayling on loan from Aston Villa, signed Ashleigh Neville from Tottenham Hotspur, and completed the signing of Emma Jansson from FC Rosengård.
