Jule Brand left VfL Wolfsburg at the end of her contract and made the move to OL Lyonnes as a free agent. She was targeted by many clubs but decided to start her new chapter in the Arkema Prèmiere Ligue in France.
Jule Brand career
Brand started her senior career with TSG Hoffenheim’s second team in 2018. After two years she earned a spot in the first team before signing with VfL Wolfsburg in 2022. After three years, 19 appearances and four goals this season, the player announced her departure. OL Lyonnes did not hesitate and signed the free agent on a contract that runs until 2028.

“Lyon is a very big club so I am very excited to be here and I can’t wait to get started. You have to be there 100%, to train, and I think the mentality is very high here. I want to show what I can do on the pitch. I love how they work; their aims and I want to win titles with the team. I love the risky game of it, just to have the ball and create things. I know which players are playing here and its top players from the highest level. I want to compete with them. I am really excited to have new experiences and start a new chapter.”
