The Paris 2024 Olympics women’s football has come to an end. The USA won the Gold Medal after a win over Brazil on Saturday the 10th of August. Emma Hayes and her team dominated the group stage but needed extra time in the quarter-finals and semi-finals to beat Japan and Germany. In the final match it soon Mallory Swanson until the 57th minute to score the one and only goal. Brazil was better than the USA, especially at the start of the match. The Olympic Games Women’s Football in 2024 started on the 25th of July. The 12 teams competed for the prestigious title. Among them the current Olympic Champions Canada and World Champion Spain. The tournament began with the group stage from the 25th until the 31st of July. The eight remaining teams will entered the knock-out stage. The USA, Spain Brazil and Germany competed for a spot in the final. Eventually it was Brazil that took on Emma Hayes and her team.
