Participants of the She Believes Cup 2025

The USA played against Japan and Australia during the Paris 2024 Olympics. Emma Hayes and her team were too strong for Australia by 2-1 and won from Japan in the quarter-finals (1-0). Japan featured in the She Believes Cup five times before, while Australia and Colombia make their debuts.

Now the competition is back to its original three matchday format. Last year it was only a two-date format due to the international windows in combination with the Olympics. All the teams are building up to the World Cup 2027, which makes these matches the perfect practice.

The committee choses a list of finalists, which the fans can vote on via the online ballot. The fan votes are included into the overall determination. These are the players who won the award in the last five years:

  • Rose Lavelle (2021)
  • Catarania Macario (2022)
  • Mallory Swanson (2023)
  • Sophia Smith (2024)
