On Ashleigh Neville: “She has been unfortunate with some of those injuries but, more importantly, she’s fit and healthy. She’s competitive and wears her heart on the sleeve. I was delighted to see her back on the pitch.”

Molly Bartrip has been back in training in the back end of this week, but this game probably comes too soon for her. She will be in full training from Monday. Apart from that, alongside Luana [Buhler] and Ella [Morris] everyone else is fit.”

What the coach has to say

On the opponent: “Dario has done a wonderful job there. They have done very well to build a team and their performances are getting better and better.”

On the recent form and stand out player: “We have got to make sure we’re organised but, more importantly, to enjoy defending. You got to enjoy stopping people scoring in your goal.

“Everyone. I wouldn’t single anyone out. The effort and commit they’re showing on the training pitch but also in the game, they have been outstanding.”

Team News Brighton & Hove Albion

Latest team update from Dario Vidosic: “Everyone is okay, but we will see with Madi (Haley). Hopefully, she’ll be able to come with us to London, but we will assess her closer to the weekend.”

What the coach has to say

Head coach Dario Vidosic spoke to the press ahead of Tottenham Hotspur:

On the opponent: “They’re really aggressive in terms of pressing and counter pressing. They go man-to-man whenever the ball is in your back third or with the goalkeeper. We know we’ll have to be good with the ball. They have a lot of good players, can create a lot of dangers and score goals. We will have to be ready.”

On the connection between Agyemang and Kirby: “Really good. I think it was one that was developing from last season, towards the back end when Mich was playing more and more. It’s just something that they picked up from last season and I expect that to get better and better the longer they play.”

On Rosa Kafaji: “In such a short amount of time she was able to do a lot of positive things. There are still a lot of things that we need to help her to improve on. She is a young player, hasn’t played for a while, so it’s normal that there will be ups and downs. She’s got a lot of talent and we all try to make her a little better each week.
