Out: Jess Carter (thigh), Tierna Davidson (SEI – knee), Shelby Hogan (D45 – thumb), Rose Lavelle (ankle), Gabi Portilho (hip), Jéssica Silva (excused absence)

On Sophia Cook: “We still have to finalize things. She’s been out for quite a bit. We’ve been away with the team training for twlve days. Getting her back, Washington is probably the closest place somebody can get to, and we thought it was important for her to be with the team and do the sessions we did. She is someone that is very exciting and young, and I think our fans will really love her but obviously we are waiting for the complete green light. Hopefully, it comes soon.”

What the coach has to say:

Juan Carlos AmorĂłs previewed the home game against Chicago Stars:

On how the season has gone so far: “I’m very happy with the team. There was obviously a big change, going from last year into this year. We also knew that the start of the year was going to be hard for us. Either way, whoever we were playing, then the schedule came out and we have five away games out of seven – three away games in a week.

“So, coming to this point and being in the position we are in, we are fourth or fifth. Winning in such difficult places like Chicago, Washington and getting positive results in Seattle and Houston. I am very happy but what I am even more happy about is the environment and how some of the players are already adapting to the league.”
