Denver Summit FC have announced the signing of Lindsey Heaps from OL Lyonnes ahead of the club’s inaugural NWSL season. The midfielder will remain with the French side for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign before officially joining Denver Summit in June 2026.

Born and raised in Chicago, Heaps will return to the United States after an illustrious career in Europe and on the international stage with the USWNT.

During her time with OL Lyonnes, Heaps won four Division 1 Féminine titles, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Coupe de France Féminine. She previously starred for Portland Thorns FC, lifting the NWSL Championship in 2017, the NWSL Shield in 2016 and 2021, and the NWSL Challenge Cup in 2021, while also earning NWSL MVP honours in 2018.

On the international stage, Heaps has made 170 appearances for the United States. She was part of the squad that won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Olympic gold in 2024, Olympic bronze in 2020, and multiple CONCACAF titles.
