Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Ella Morris has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The 23-year-old full-back joined Spurs in July 2024 and quickly made an impression during her debut WSL season, earning her first call-up to the England senior squad.

Unfortunately, Morris suffered an ACL injury towards the end of last season, which has ruled her out since. She is currently working hard on her rehabilitation and is progressing well on her return to the pitch.

Morris came through the academy at Southampton, where she made over 100 senior appearances. She made her WSL debut away at Chelsea and has since impressed for Spurs, featuring in 13 matches and scoring her first goal for the club in a league clash with Aston Villa in April 2025.

Words from Ella Morris and Head Coach Martin Ho

Ella Morris said: “I’m very excited. It’s an amazing club to be a part of. Just seeing the growth of the team from last season to this season, how Martin (Ho) has come in and given the girls a sense of belief. It’s an exciting time to be a part of it, where we’re pushing in the league now. It’s definitely a club with ambition, and a club I want to be a part of.”

Head Coach Martin said: “Ella is one of the most exciting young full-backs in the country and we are absolutely delighted that she has committed her future to Tottenham Hotspur. To earn a Lionesses call-up at such a young age says everything about her quality, and the way she has attacked her ACL recovery shows the mentality we value so highly here.
