Ajax v Chelsea Past Matches
It’s the first time these two teams go head to head. The quarter-finals are played over two legs, the next one being at Chelsea. Of course the clubs have played in their own competitions: Ajax in the Eredivisie Vrouwen and Chelsea in the Women’s Super League. Let’s see how they did this year.
Ajax hasn’t lost a single match the past 8 games. They won their Cup match with 0-9 against FC Eindhoven and even won with 0-3 from FC Twente. Great results, but they are not teams that can match Chelsea’s level. It will be interesting to see how Ajax manages against the English club. They did surprise PSG and AS Roma. Players to watch are Lily Yohannes and Romee Leuchter.
Chelsea is still in the title race as they won from Arsenal with a spectacular 3-1. The only team that was to strong for them recently was Manchester City in the WSL match in February. Chelsea is missing a couple key players, but others like Sjoeke Nüsken and Eve Périsset are really rising up to the occasion.
