Erin Cesarini has extended her contract with AC Milan until June 30, 2028. The midfielder joined the club in the 2022/23 season, starting with the youth teams, where she impressed by scoring 15 goals—including a key performance in the Women’s Viareggio Cup final. Her efforts earned her a call-up to the first team last season, where she has made ten appearances so far.
More AC Milan transfer news
Besides Erin Cesarini, there are more players signing for AC Milan. Milicia Keijzer started her football career at Ajax at age 17 from VV Alkmaar. After two years, she broke into the first team and went on to win the domestic title in her debut season. Over her time at the club, she made a total of 39 appearances. Now, the 22-year-old defender is set for her first adventure abroad, signing a contract with AC Milan until June 2027.
Keijzer is already familiar with head coach Suzanne Bakker, having worked with her during their time together at Ajax. This familiarity could help ease her transition into the Italian league.
Adding a goalkeeper to the team
According to journalist Luca Maninetti, AC Milan is also close to signing goalkeeper Sandra Estévez. Maninetti added there is still no update on the situation regarding Noemi Fedele, who is likely on her way out, as things currently stand.
Estévez, 22, currently plays for Granada. She made 20 appearances this season, recording 63 saves and conceding 24 goals. Her arrival would bring fresh competition and depth to Milan’s goalkeeping department.
With new faces coming in and more changes likely on the horizon, AC Milan is already laying the groundwork for a stronger campaign in the 2025/26 season.
