Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Victoria Pelova as the summer transfer window approaches. According to Soccerdonna, Spurs are among the clubs monitoring the Dutch international, whose future at Arsenal remains uncertain following an injury-disrupted spell in North London.

Pelova joined Arsenal from Ajax in January 2023 and quickly established herself as one of the club’s most technically gifted midfielders. Her versatility, composure in possession, and creative ability made her an important figure in the squad during her first full season in the Women’s Super League.

However, her progress was halted by a serious ACL injury that sidelined her for a lengthy period and significantly impacted her momentum.

Since returning to action, Pelova has shown glimpses of the quality that once made her one of Europe’s most promising midfield talents, but she has struggled to consistently rediscover her best form. Across all competitions, the 26-year-old has made 87 appearances for Arsenal and scored six goals.

What would Victoria Pelova add to Tottenham’s Midfield

A move to Tottenham could offer Pelova the opportunity she needs to rebuild confidence and secure regular playing time at the highest level.

Under head coach Martin Ho, Spurs enjoyed an impressive campaign, finishing fifth in the Women’s Super League and laying the foundations for further progress next season. Tottenham are now actively strengthening their squad as they aim to close the gap on the league’s top four.

With experienced players such as Bethany England and Kit Graham departing, Spurs are entering a new era and targeting dynamic additions capable of fitting Ho’s high-intensity system.

Pelova’s technical profile would add creativity and intelligence to Tottenham’s midfield. Comfortable operating as a central playmaker, attacking midfielder, or wide creator, she could provide the flexibility and ball progression Spurs often relied upon last season.

Her ability to retain possession under pressure and link midfield with attack would also complement Tottenham’s increasingly aggressive attacking approach.

Tottenham Continue Squad Rebuild With Shekiera Martinez Signing

The first campaign under Martin Ho was a success. The head coach led his team to 5th place and they are now building an even stronger squad for next season. With the departure of Bethany England and Kit Graham, more talent had to be brought in.

One of the first signigns was that of Germany international Shekiera Martinez from West Ham United ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 24-year-old forward arrives on a long-term contract as Spurs continue reshaping their squad following the departure of Bethany England. After impressing during her breakthrough spell in the Women’s Super League, Martinez is expected to play a key role in Martin Ho’s evolving attack.

Martinez brings pace, physical presence, and intelligent movement to Tottenham’s front line. Comfortable operating centrally or drifting into wider positions, she offers Spurs a more direct attacking profile and a stronger goal threat in transition.

Her ability to stretch defensive lines, combine with midfield runners, and attack space inside the penalty area gives Tottenham greater tactical flexibility heading into next season.
