Vilde Bøe Risa has extended her contract with Atlético Madrid until 2026. The midfielder joined the club in 2023, coming from Manchester United, where she played for two seasons, made 44 appearances, and scored eight goals. Since arriving at Atlético Madrid, Vilde Bøe Risa quickly established herself in the starting XI and remains one of the team’s key players, being one of the most frequently used midfielders. The Norwegian international has played a total of 68 matches across Liga F, Copa de la Reina, UEFA Women’s Champions League, and the Super Cup.
Renewing more contracts
Atlético Madrid also extended Sheila Guijarro’s contract until June 30, 2026. Guijarro joined the club in 2023 and has since made 66 appearances, scoring 19 goals. “I am very happy to stay here one more year. We really want to reach the Queen’s Cup final, and I’m sure we’ll achieve it together,” Guijarro said.
Xènia Pérez’s contract was renewed until June 2027. The 23-year-old defender arrived from RCD Espanyol and, according to the club, “has become a very important player both on and off the field.” Pérez has played in 63 official matches and scored two goals.
“I am very happy to wear this shirt for two more years. I hope we can achieve all our goals together,” Pérez said.
