As part of preparations for the new season, the club also announced the signing of Andrea Álvarez on a two-year deal. The Guatemalan forward joins from SD Eibar, where she spent the past three seasons. Álvarez made 78 appearances and scored 16 goals for the Basque club. Álvarez shared her excitement about the move:

“I want to help the team achieve our goals and then score as many goals as possible to support my teammates. I hope to provide assists as well, which is just as important as scoring goals. I’m going to give my best—Sevilla FC is a big club with a strong reputation. I also know some of my new teammates, who are great people, and that really motivated me to come here.”
