While Matt Beard was still fresh in our minds, the next Women’s Super League manager has been sacked. This time it’s Laura Kaminski. She was the head coach of Crystal Palace, who were just promoted to the WSL. The club is now at the bottom of the table with six points.
Chairman Steve Parish on sacking Kaminski
“This has been an extremely difficult decision for the club to take. Laura has made a fantastic impact since arriving in the summer of 2023, getting the club promoted to the WSL for the first time in its history. Laura has given her all, on and off the pitch, and she leaves here with all of our thanks and best wishes for the future,” Steve Parish said.
The club will provide an update on Laura Kaminski’s replacement “in due course”.
Crystal Palace faces Liverpool – Who is also without head coach
Matt Beard left Liverpool with immediate effect this week, just like Kaminski. Amber Whiteley took over from him while the club is searching for a replacement. It is, of course, a coincidence that these two clubs now face each other this weekend but it could lead to an interesting game.
