FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich winger Klara Bühl, with the Germany international’s future increasingly uncertain as she approaches the end of her contract.
According to German outlet Bild, Barcelona are among several European clubs to have made an approach for the 25-year-old, whose current Bayern deal expires next summer. Interest is also said to exist from England.
Bühl has spent six years with Bayern and remains one of the German champions’ most important attacking players, but she has yet to decide whether her future lies in Munich.

Bühl keeps options open
Speaking to ZDF following Bayern’s 3-0 Women’s Champions League victory over Benfica, Bühl confirmed that no decision has yet been made.
“Everything is still open. I can imagine anything,” Bühl said. “I feel very, very comfortable in Munich, I know what I have in Munich, I haven’t set myself a deadline.”
Bayern, however, appear to be working to a clearer timeframe. Bild reports that Bayern women’s director Bianca Rech wants clarity over the club’s squad for next season by the end of December.
That could make the coming months decisive, particularly with Bühl potentially able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside Germany from January if she does not sign an extension.
Barcelona among clubs monitoring Bühl
Bild reports that Barcelona have already expressed an interest in the winger, while clubs in England are also keen. It is not the first time Bühl has attracted significant interest. According to the report, she rejected approaches in 2025 and opted to remain with Bayern.
Losing her on a free transfer next summer would represent a significant blow for the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.
Bühl has made 195 appearances and scored 55 goals for Bayern, establishing herself as a key figure since joining the club in 2020.
Her importance was evident again in the Champions League against Benfica. Bühl opened the scoring in the 75th minute as Bayern eventually secured a 3-0 victory after being frustrated for much of the match.
With Barcelona reportedly interested and Bayern looking for clarity before the end of the year, Bühl’s contract situation could become one of the major transfer stories to follow ahead of the 2027 summer window.
