Paris 2024 Olympics

The Paris 2024 Olympics women’s football has come to an end. The USA won the Gold Medal after a win over Brazil on Saturday the 10th of August. Emma Hayes and her team dominated the group stage but needed extra time in the quarter-finals and semi-finals to beat Japan and Germany. In the final match it soon Mallory Swanson until the 57th minute to score the one and only goal. Brazil was better than the USA, especially at the start of the match. It could have been 2-0 before half time but Brazil failed to finish their chances. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Next our focus will go to the NWSL and the European competitions.

The women’s football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held from 25 July to 10 August 2024. It was the eighth edition of the women’s Olympic football tournament. Together with the men’s competition, the 2024 Summer Olympics football tournament was at seven stadiums in seven cities in France. The final played at Parc des Princes in Paris. There are no player age restrictions for teams participating in the competition.
