The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will be the 14th edition of the European Championship for Women. In July 2025 the tournament will be played in Switzerland. It’s only the third edition where 16 teams will play against each other. The teams are currently working towards Match Day 5 and 6 for the qualifiers. After match day 6 we will know who the top eight in League A are. They earned the first tickets to the tournament.
When Will the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 be held?
Switzerland was chosen as host in April 2023. They beat off Poland, France and the joint proposal of Denmark/Finland/Norway/Sweden. There are more than 720.000 tickets available for the tournament, but when will it be held? The dates are yet to be confirmed, but we are sure it will be in July 2025. So don’t book any holidays yet and get ready for the EURO’s 2025.
UEFA EURO 2025 Stadiums
Switzerland will use eight different venues in different cities. The maximum capacity is 38,512 in the St. Jakob-Park Stadium in Basel. These are the Euro 2025 stadiums:

- Geneva – Stade de Genève, capacity 30,084

- Thun – Stockhorn Arena, capacity 10,39
How does the qualifying work for the Women’s Euro’s 2025?
The teams that will try to qualify for the Euro’s 2025 are divided into 3 Leagues. The starting position of each country depends on the results of the Women’s Nations League. The teams will play a maximum of six matches. The top eight in League A will automatically qualify for the Euro’s 2025. Switzerland is guaranteed a slot. The remaining spots will be given away during the last two rounds of the European Qualifiers.
