The 2026/27 Women’s FA Cup has moved another step closer to the main rounds, with the second qualifying round completed and 72 ties now scheduled for the third qualifying round. The next round will be played on Sunday 4 October 2026, with the fixtures currently scheduled to kick off at 14:00.
The winners will continue their journey through the qualifying stages of the competition as the field gradually narrows ahead of the entry of clubs from higher levels of the women’s football pyramid.
Third qualifying round takes shape
There are plenty of familiar names among the clubs still involved. Blackburn Rovers travel to AFC Fylde, while Leeds United visit Stockton Town and Notts County face an away tie against Kirby Muxloe. Elsewhere, Watford host Haringey Borough, Reading travel to Bromley and Queens Park Rangers visit Bognor Regis Town.
One of the southern ties sees Worthing host Brentford, while Millwall Lionesses travel to Denham United. The third qualifying round also continues to give clubs from further down the pyramid an opportunity to progress deep into the early stages of the competition.
