Less than a year ago, Renee van Asten had yet to make her senior Eredivisie debut. Today, she is a Barcelona player. The Liga F champions have completed the signing of the 19-year-old defender from Ajax on a contract until 2030, securing one of the most highly-rated young centre-backs in European football after months of growing interest from across the continent.
From Breakthrough Talent to Barcelona
Renee Van Asten’s development has been nothing short of remarkable.
