BK Häcken striker Felicia Schröder is once again attracting major transfer interest across Europe, according to Rodra. The 19-year-old Swedish forward was linked with several elite clubs last season, including FC Barcelona Femení, VfL Wolfsburg Women, Olympique Lyonnais Féminin and Chelsea Women. Now, Schröder has reportedly re-emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Real Madrid Femenino ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 2026 Damallsvenskan season is only six matches old, but Schröder has already made her mark. She started four matches, registering three goals and one assist, continuing the remarkable form she showed throughout 2025.

Across all competitions for Häcken, Schröder has now produced 87 goals and 17 assists in just 123 appearances, exceptional numbers for a player still in her teens. Schröder began her youth career at IFK Björkö before joining Häcken’s academy setup. She made her senior debut in April 2023, replacing Rosa Kafaji in the closing stages of a league match.

Despite intense transfer speculation last year, Schröder committed her future to Häcken by signing a contract extension until 2028. The club reportedly views her as one of the brightest talents in European football and remains committed to giving her consistent minutes during a crucial stage of her development. According to reports from Swedish media, Schröder also became the highest-paid player in Damallsvenskan history after signing her new deal.

On the international stage, Felicia Schröder has represented Sweden at U15, U16 and U17 levels before making her senior debut on May 30, 2025, against Italy women’s national football team in the UEFA Women’s Nations League. She came on for Kosovare Asllani in the 62nd minute as the match ended in a 0–0 draw.

What Could Felicia Schröder Add to Chelsea and Real Madrid?

Schröder is increasingly viewed as more than just a prolific young goalscorer. The Swedish forward has developed into a complete modern attacker whose ceiling appears significantly higher than her current profile.

After scoring 30 league goals in 26 matches during Häcken’s title-winning 2025 campaign, Schröder has continued her rise with strong domestic and European performances in 2026.

What makes her particularly attractive to Europe’s elite clubs is the combination of production and tactical intelligence. While naturally a penalty-box striker, she also contributes heavily in pressing phases, transitional attacks and link-up play.

One of Schröder’s standout qualities is her movement. She consistently identifies space early, attacking defensive gaps before opponents are fully set. Many of her goals may appear simple, but they are often the result of elite anticipation and timing.

Why Chelsea Are Interested

Chelsea’s attack can occasionally become overly possession-focused against deep defensive blocks. Schröder would add verticality, aggressive running and transitional threat to the frontline.

She thrives when attacking space quickly and presses defenders relentlessly without the ball — qualities highly valued in modern elite systems.

At just 19, she would also fit Chelsea’s long-term succession planning while still offering immediate rotational depth across multiple attacking positions.

Why Real Madrid Are Interested

Real Madrid’s style could arguably suit Schröder even more naturally. Real Madrid are at their most dangerous in open, transition-heavy matches, and Schröder excels in exactly those situations. Her pace, channel runs and instinctive finishing make her a dangerous weapon in broken-field attacks.

Her tactical flexibility is another major advantage. Schröder is capable of playing centrally, drifting wide or operating alongside another striker, making her an attractive option for a fluid attacking system.

If her development continues at the current rate, Europe’s biggest clubs may soon view this summer as their best opportunity to secure one of the game’s most exciting young forwards before her valuation rises even further.
