Katelyn Hendriks has joined Liga F side Badalona Women on loan from FC Twente for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The 23-year-old Dutch winger makes the move to Spain after spending less than a year with Twente, having joined the club from Excelsior Rotterdam in January 2026.
Hendriks made 13 appearances for FC Twente Women following her arrival, scoring twice. She will now continue her season in Spain as part of a Badalona squad that has undergone significant changes during the summer transfer window.

Badalona add Hendriks to attack
Badalona have brought Hendriks in to strengthen their attacking options, with the Dutch forward becoming the club’s ninth new arrival of the summer. The move will also give Hendriks her first experience outside Dutch club football.
Primarily a winger, she already has several years of senior experience despite being only 23. Hendriks made her Eredivisie debut at the age of 17 and has subsequently represented ADO Den Haag, Excelsior Rotterdam and FC Twente.
She has also represented the Netherlands at youth level, including with the Under-17s, and has been called into the Dutch Under-23 squad.
Short spell at FC Twente
Hendriks only arrived at Twente midway through last season. After making the switch from Excelsior in January, she went on to feature 13 times and scored two goals for the club.
Rather than remaining with Twente for the current campaign, the winger will now get the opportunity for regular football in Liga F. There is no mention of an option to buy in either announcement, with FC Twente confirming that the agreement runs until the end of the season.
For Badalona, the signing adds another attacking option before the Spanish transfer window closes. Hendriks now begins a new chapter in Spain as she looks to establish herself in Liga F before returning to FC Twente at the end of her loan.
