Abi Brighton has joined AC Milan on loan from Juventus for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The 24-year-old American midfielder will remain with the Rossonere until 30 June 2027 and will wear the number 32 shirt. The move gives Brighton a new opportunity in Serie A after making 40 appearances for Juventus Women since arriving in Italy in January 2025.

Brighton makes loan move to AC Milan
Brighton joined Juventus at the beginning of 2025 after completing her college career in the United States. She quickly became part of a successful Juventus squad and has collected several trophies during her time in Turin, including the Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup.
Brighton will now continue her development elsewhere in Serie A, with Juventus confirming that the midfielder will spend the rest of the campaign with AC Milan. The move is a loan rather than a permanent transfer, with Brighton remaining a Juventus player beyond the end of the current season.
From Vanderbilt to Serie A
Born in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Brighton played college football for Vanderbilt between 2020 and 2024.
The midfielder made 93 appearances for the Commodores, scoring ten goals and providing 15 assists. She helped Vanderbilt win the SEC title during her first season and later captained the team.
Her final college campaign included a notable NCAA Tournament victory over defending champions Florida State, with Brighton providing an assist before converting the decisive penalty in the shootout.
She was subsequently named to the All-SEC second team and selected as a United Soccer Coaches third-team All-American. Juventus brought Brighton to Europe in January 2025, marking the beginning of her professional career.
At international level, she has represented the United States at several youth levels from U14 through U20 and was invited to a US U23 training camp in March 2025. Brighton will now look for regular minutes with AC Milan as the Rossonere continue their 2026/27 campaign.
