Denver Summit FC have signed Cameroon international Naomi Eto on a permanent transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 21-year-old forward has agreed a contract through the 2027 NWSL season, with Denver holding an option for 2028. The transfer fee has not been disclosed, and Eto is expected to join her new club in the coming weeks subject to receiving her P-1 visa.

The move takes Eto to the NWSL shortly after helping Cameroon win the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Eto leaves PSG without making her mark in Paris

Eto joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2025 but spent the 2025/26 season on loan with Sassuolo in Italy. The Cameroon international scored three goals and registered one assist during her season in Serie A before returning to PSG this summer.

Her permanent move to Denver means she leaves PSG without establishing herself in the French club’s first team. Before signing for PSG, Eto had spent time with Amazone FAP in Cameroon and En Avant Guingamp in France.

WAFCON success with Cameroon

Naomi Eto arrives in Colorado following a successful summer at international level. The forward was part of the Cameroon team that won the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, the country’s first WAFCON title.

Eto was a regular in Cameroon’s starting XI during the tournament and played an important role in their run to the championship. She was directly involved in goals during the final against Malawi as Cameroon secured the title and qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Her performances continued a rapid rise at international level after she had previously captained Cameroon at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Eto emerged as one of Cameroon’s standout players at that tournament as the country reached the Round of 16 on its first appearance at the U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Denver add another young international attacker

Eto now joins Denver Summit during the club’s inaugural NWSL campaign. The Colorado side entered the league as an expansion team in 2026 and have continued shaping their squad throughout their first season.

For Naomi Eto, the transfer provides an opportunity to establish herself in the NWSL after gaining senior experience in France and Italy at a young age.

She will join Denver once the necessary visa process has been completed. Paris Saint-Germain confirmed that the move is a permanent transfer, while Denver announced that the forward has signed through 2027 with an option for a further season.
